MICROCHIPPING

Microchips are a way of permanently identifying your pet. The chip, which is the size a grain of rice, is implanted/injected under the skin between the shoulder blades.

If your dog or cat strays and gets picked up and taken to a local animal shelter or a veterinary practice, they will be able to scan the animal for a microchip and trace you within minutes.

A confused and stressed pet can cover vast distances in a day. This means that you may have to drive kilometres and put posters far and wide to search for your lost pet.
